Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our growing team in Columbia, South Carolina.

This is first and foremost a manufacturing cost accounting position. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing cost variances, and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.

As a growing company, this role also includes general accounting responsibilities such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger maintenance, and month-end close. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a hands-on environment while partnering with leadership to improve profitability, support pricing decisions, and provide meaningful financial insight to the business.

Working closely with executive leadership, production, purchasing, and operations, this individual will play a key role in helping alimex understand manufacturing costs, improve profitability, and support strategic business decisions.

This is primarily an on-site position due to the close interaction with our manufacturing operations. Occasional remote work flexibility is available when business needs allow.
